ArsTechnica has a nice round up of some current flash drives (Flash drives are those key chain looking things that have a USB connector on one side and hold 32-512 Meg of info) if you are in the market for one. I personally like the flash drives that have MP3 player built in.

Tron’s Fat Brother
Here’s a funny site about a guy’s journey to be the coolest Tron friend type person there is. At a costume party at least. The pics are funny but so is some of the text so don’t miss out on great quotes like these:
It turned out to be easier than I thought, largely because acrylic paint is easy to work with. It went exactly where I told it to go. The learning curve was in figuring out how to tell it.

Segway Insurance
You can get insurance for just about anything. Including your segway. In case you do lots of damage to something or someone while speeding around recklessly at 10 mph! (the max speed of the Segway HT-i) Looks like coverage starts around $300 a year.
Kitchen Snow
Apparently my dog KC thought that I left her alone for a bit too long today. Or perhaps she was just hiding the several bones that quite honestly were well hidden. Or perhaps she just didn’t like the crinkly sound her new bed made. Whichever. When I came home from work, I discovered snow all over the kitchen. I probably should have been mad, but it just seemed pretty damn funny instead.
Archives Added
Due to popular demand, we have added an archive page to reduce the size of our main page. I had hoped to have either A) some new software that would automate the archiving of older articles or B) 100 pages of printable text on the main page before creating an archive page. Oh well the best laid plans and all (at least i hit 50 pages of text before the masses rose up against me). So enjoy the new slim trim Scott’Soapbox.

UPDATE: Our new site SW allows you to browse the archives by month and topic
