This site is - well - my soapbox… Many people think that if the world would just listen to them — it would be a better place for all of us. I just happen to be right. ;) That’s right O’Reilly, Dr. Phil, Oprah, Sam Donaldson and I have it all worked out so just still back and enjoy. Why should you listen to us?? Why because we’re so humble of course. :) This is site is somewhat less focused than other sites. Most of it does fall into a few broad catagories. In no particular order:
- Social commentary
- Ideological discussion
- Reviews of products and services
- and of course Weird, Funny, Humorous, and Entertaining Stuff
This site is also being used as a staging ground for several books that I am in various stages of writing including a cookbook, a diet “plan”, and a few others that I’ve decided not to unveil just yet.Wow, we’re finally back up after like two years being dark. I appologize for my extremely low tech site. We were utilizing the then cutting edge technology of Simple1.net’s SimpaSite (TM) ver 2.5 but then we moved servers and before you know it… it’s 2 years later. Anyway, with ver 3.0 around the corner we’re holding off setting up the full site until we can get the latest and greatest… just for you - our users. :)Anyway maybe this will inspire Simple1.net to lend us another tech preview or finish ver 3 - whichever. Or maybe it will inspire me to use this site to test out some of my php / mySQL coding I’m making for other sites - but I wouldn’t get your hopes up in any of those cases.
UPDATE: Well another 2 years have passed and ver 3.0 (Project Magma) has been further delayed causing us to switch gears and change over to Word Press 2.0. While this SW is not as feature rich as Magma, it is done. And that is something quite valued after 2 years of delays. Once magma hits the presses we will start the transition to it, but in the meantime we can enjoy the many benefits of a dynamic site.
UPDATE 2: Well we have now switched over to eQuillPress as our site software. eQuillPress is an improved version of Wordpress; Available from Simple1.net or TeacherSolutions.NET.
UPDATE 3: We are now running the latest version of eQuillPress - which is why we have so many cool new features. Sweet.
Any way - this is my site. It is NOT a blog. A web log maybe, but not a blog. I don’t like the word blog - literally. It just doesn’t roll of the tongue and inspire awe and wonder so remember no using the word blog around me… I’m sensitive.
