My brother found the pre-Seal School training regiment online. I went through and create a combined training schedule from it. I like this quote from the Seal site "Getting in shape for the world class Navy SEALs is no walk in the park. However, if you can push yourself to the limit, then the rewards will be great!" Yes like being able to run 4 miles in army boots in under 30 minutes — these aren't your Nike Zoom Maxes or being able swim 2 miles in the ocean in under 75 minutes. My favorite is the 5.5 mile ocean swim to completion (with fins). Great rewards INDEED.

Prada Tool-bag
For the man that has everything – except me because I don’t want one (my b-day is coming up) – you can get them this prada bag. While a nice thought, at $700 i think most men will wonder where the remote for it is.
Lego Guitar
A cool axe for those of us that miss having the time to play with legos all day.
Memory Card Hell Week
Put under the most extreme conditions, most memory cards did quite well. Surviving coffee swims and washing machine spins the cards survived under what i would term normal abuse. When extreme abuse was given the cards did -at least mostly- fail. So remember don’t nail your memory card to a tree. While it keeps you from losing it, you will probably lose your the data stored on it. ;)
1st Ever Kuban Super Sprint Triathlon
Today, I and a few other lucky souls got the chance to break-in a new Tri course. The Kuban Super Sprint Triathlon consisted of an 1/8th mile swim, a 5 mile bike ride, and a 1 mile run. While I won the swimming leg, my own legs were so wornout in the biking leg as to make my running leg somewhat laughable. There were some safety concerns about traffic during the biking portion of the course so it will probably be reworked before the next race. My time of 41 minutes was about 6 minutes behind where I had hoped to finish.
